SOCOM 3 on TWB?

I was jw when the socom 3 maps are going to be on TWB. I love setting up formations with them but i cant get any good pics of the maps to even link them right now.

We do not have clearance from Piggyback to release digital versions of the maps as of yet. We are working with them to make this happen.

I have seen digitalized maps of them. If I post them, would I get in trouble?...

yes you would get in trouble. not by us , but by random house publishing.

The sad part is that alot of people who have purchased the Official Guide have just scanned the images and posted them all over the net.

Rator trust me we all really appreciate your hard work, and I hope that you were monitarily taken care of. Its just so hard to control these kind of things.
Hopefully Piggyback can be nice about this and realize that as a community it is extremely helpful to those clans that like to play with strategy.

I mean, what do you think the chances are that they'll let you post them?

I think the chances are good. You guys have to know that this is big business. They dont want to put the maps out for free and stop sales of the guide. I will keep you posted.

I had also found images of the new maps online and had posted them on my site. I had figured as long as I supported your official disclaimer,


all would be good. Now that I know they are not only your property they will be removed.

My job is not to fuck anyone out of there well deserved money, Just to keep my clan informed. I will let them know. Thanks for enlighting me.

ok just to clarify, the socom 1 and 2 maps are free to use as long as you dont edit them and follow the disclaimer, the S3 maps are Piggybacks property and cannot be used as of yet.

there is a disclaimer in the back of the guide and i think it says that you basically cannot reproduce the maps in any way.

ok, I havent bought it yet. I will though after I get verified and buy the new maps and then get the money to buy the guide

i have memorized most of the maps from the guide and I think that you guys did and excellent job. I appreciate all the info on all the tactics. I liked the guide from s3 than the s2, it was bit more informative.Thanks
