America's Army (Playstation)
Nice game, good graphics. I like how it makes you have to train to acomplish anything in it. However the online play is not the best.. again the graphics are good, but i thought the whole layout of the multiplayer part was cheap. Overbyall i'd give it about a 8.5

i would give socom 3 about a 9.0 I think its a badass game, they just need to fix all the bugs in it. After a patch comes out, i'll probably give it a 9.5 or a 10.0
The graphics are extremely good, especially with a HDTV. The maps have great detail - however i think they should have incorperated a few snow based maps.. not just snowing on the map, lol. But overall i would recommend this game to anyone, even if you arent interested in military games. This is by far the best 3rd person shooter game i have ever played Oh and yes, i returned America's Army the 2ns day i had it. |

I would be satisfied with Socom 3 even if there was never a patch. I'm with you on the 9.0-9.5. I can't give it a 10 because there is always room for improvement. I would like a snow map too. Blizzard rocked. ...or a muddy map with all kinds of routes and mud puddles. I can't stand sniping so I hate Storm Front and I hated Foxhunt.

i like sniping, but Socom 3 made it so any old chode can snipe. Some shots still take skill, but just about everyone i have met so far says they are a great sniper... i wonder if they know why?
And i like your idea about a mud map. Do you or anyone else know if they are ever going to make downloadable maps again? And i saw a poll on socom's stat website asking which socom 2 map they would like in socom 3, so i'm guessing they are going to bring one of them back. |

Hopefully not soon. I still need to learn everyone of these maps.

I think that instead of making the old maps, they should make even more new maps, or take the old maps and expand them to a bigger size.

Give me the option to play Fishhook as a breach map, an escort map, and and as a demolition map. That's all I want.

AA and maps:
How did you play America's Army on PS2 and return it, if it doesn't come out until January. And about the maps I doubt they bring any of the old maps in for one because they discontinued the hard drives. bigclap I personally do not want anything to do with any of the old maps or SOCOM2 I like what we have on S3 and only look forward to new things to come.bighands
