Not Columbine. They walked in there with backpacks full of ammunition and explosives. That day will forever be etched in my memory. I remember coming back from lunch to learn what was happening to fellow students not more than 15 miles or so away.

I believe it was the next year that we had a scare at our school someone claiming that a kid had a gun at school. They got on the intercom in the middle of class and told the teachers to lock the doors. No one was to leave the room until further notice. Then we heard 2 or 3 helicopters overhead. Then we see the field outside the classroom fill up with officers and lots of K-9's. I think I heard a rough estimate of over 50 police cruisers had responded and parked around the school. Scary stuff I tell you.
