True Detective
1st episode was last Sunday. I watched it and have high hopes. It was great. At first, I thought it wouldn't be that good because the title of the show sounded silly. It's slow, but the drama and acting are spectacular.

DUDE!!! That shoot-out in the projects was perhaps the best TV I’ve seen in years. Fucking AWESOME!!! Hands down, they’ll get a Emmy for this show. Damn.

Alexandra Daddario is mega hot. She plays Marty's play thang. From Percy Jackson to showing gritty crime drama!
The acid trips are wierd. McConaughey's character is a real trip. He's a smart pot head? And now with this twist from the last episode....is he a suspect now? WTF? EDIT: Had a couple weeks of so-so episodes. This last episode woke the series back up. Great stuff.
