How come u have to b 18 to join?

Hello. Since no one replied, I'll speak for the [SS].

It's nothing against younger people, but we've found that older guys tend to be more stable, tactical, mature, and dedicated to their pursuits.

The [SS], like many other solid fraternal organizations, requires a significant time committment from the members. As people get older, they are both more willing to make this committment AND they have the ability to make the committment.

So, the 18+ guideline helps ensure that new recruits fit the required mold.
