Loyal SOCOM fans, we apologize for going silent for some time. We have again gone dark into the deep recesses of development without a word to you, but it is time to break the silence! While some of our developers have been busy finishing up SOCOM 3 and SOCOM FTB for Europe the rest of the SOCOM 3 team has been hard at work completing the downloadable Map Packs and SOCOM 3 Commerce. Getting all of the content and infrastructure up and running has been a HUGE task and has taken us longer than we initially anticipated. However, we are very close to completion now and will be releasing the Map Packs as soon as we can. Expect them to be ready for deployment in mid May.

Also, in order to make sure the SOCOM 3 commerce and the SOCOM II Map Pack #1 is ready for broad release, we will be initiating a two week trial period. For the first two weeks of public release you will be able to download and play SOCOM II Map Pack #1 for no charge. After the two week trial period has expired you will need to purchase SOCOM II Map Pack #1 in order to continue playing. It is important to note that the two week trial period starts when the content goes live and expires two weeks later, it is not based on when you first download the content.
