1500m can't be right
That is 4500ft. A mile is 5280ft.
I don't think your dad was trying to aim at something w/o a scope almost a mile away...

yeah.. that kind of stuff only works in socom 3 with an M16 no scope

The scope on S3 goes to 100 meters and change. Not 1,000 meters.

btw i believe it was 1500 feet not meters... 1500 feet = 500 yards

it is 1500 feet not meters, no one no matter what branch of service , no matter what time frame they were in , EVER qualified 1500 meters with an M-16 A-1 or A-2 , without a scope
