Team Fortress 2 (Orange Box)
Ok, excuse me for a second while I post some movies. What you must realize is that all this is IN GAME... all done by the Source Engine. And that TF2 is only 1 of the games that comes with the Orange Box... (The others are Half Life 2, HL2: Episode 1 and 2, and Portal)
Team Fortress 2 Teaser: Meet the Engineer: Meet the Heavy Weapons Guy: Meet the Soldier: gameplay: It comes out on the xbox too, I believe: http://orange.half-life2.com/index.html niiiice... all this for under $50? me likey. |

I dont like the art style they went with at all. Reminds me too much of the old Bugs Bunny cartoons.

I will have to play the game I guess when it comes out. I love Half Life and Counterstrike. But anyways here is a picture of the what the Soldier reminds me of.

LOL I just LOVE those videos!
I did play the first team fortress a little bit. I did not like it too much. It was ok but.....ya. The game play just looks plain silly. Yes. Cartoony. |

ok, this has to be one of the best FPSs I've played in a LONG while.
Balanced. Each class is unique and not over powered. The maps are awesome. Multiple game modes/objectives... I'm a huge proponent of the "Gameplay is KING" theory. And this game is ALL gameplay... it's just friggen polished. And check out this screenshot of my buddy, Mtech after he got hit by a rocket: |
