thats how most PC multi-user online games (shooters) work anyways.. so i figure they are trying to get to that..

from what I've read
from what I've read, it'll havenew maps that you will be able to download, but I havn't seen anything about customizable maps. Did you read that somewhere snake? If so you are right , that'd be SWEET!

I seriously don't think you would be allowed to create custom maps. That would take some very high end software and you can't prevent glitchers from badlly created maps. This could also swarm the SOCOM II servers and cause the gaming experience to decrease. Just my opinion.

I agree with Prox. I would never play a clan on there on map. They made that map around there style of play with little hinding spots and shit. It would be stupid. I am sure our clan could make a map and gear towards one side and always chose that side when we fight. Not to mention you can put gltches into a map if you make it so....

PS2 is finally catching up to XBox. I guess Sony is trying to be more like Microsoft now. It's cool though to be able to do all of those things. At least now we can all benefit from it.

I was under the impression that the HDD will replace your network adapter and your network adapter would basicaly be built into your HDD now
