gun wont pop up!!

sumtimes wen im playin in a level...theres an enemy right in front of me like 2 feet away and i shoot and it wont shoot cause my gun wont pop up!!! i die sumtimes cause of this cause my gun wont shoot...and it really pisses me off!!...its like it locks up...its jammed or something..

I most often have a problem with my weapon not popping up because I relly too heavily on it "warning" me of an enemy being nearby. An example is when I am camping and watching one side/door, thinking my gun will pop up when someone comes up behind me (from anohter direction) when the enemy is near me, but NO, I get killed because my weapon never popped up would have to have turned around to know the enemy was there. Perhaps it doesnt pop up unless someone is within a certain span of view meaning behind you no pop up. But yet soemwhere between left and right peripheral vision (in front of you) then it pops up?

ya i know wat u mean....but wat i mean is that sumtimes wen hes right in front of me...my gun wont pop up so i cant shoot him...i keep shooting but the gun still wont pop up...i think its because of that new patch that they put in...theres less glittching but theres also more lag and stuff like that...cause this only started happening 2 me after that patch was put in...bope..

They should have no action in which your gun pops up because it gives your relative hiding spot away. If your the only one left in a small map on to about 4 other people you cannot hide if most look for you. People dont check every little nook they run and wait for their gun to go up in order to find you.

About the gun not going up when enemy units are in front of you or near you. I think that your gun may not go up because you are too close to a wall or they are lagging. I think it may be a bug in the game because in socom1 i never had a gun jamming problem.

ya i dnt think that the gun should pop up at all it would ruin the stealth for ppl hiding and also it would b worse caus the ppl that r hiding will know if there is someone near them and just pop ip and shoot...that sux...the ones that r hiding should take a chance and look out for the seekers without knowing if there is n e 1 there...and the seekers should look for ppl without there gun pop up trick...also the gun pop up is just so that socom could make it more realistic...but really it has a lot of disadvantages...such as my gun not popping up went i want 2 shoot and another disadvantage is that it gives away ur position..

But anyway, I have that same problem. My gun jams all the time. It wont even come up, even if I've seen the guy for a while. I dont understand it.
