So how exactly was this done? I don't see fishing line or anything, it doesnt look like editing....

The glasses seem to flip cleanly. Check out the skateboard tail flip and the skateboarding motion scenes.

Good editing I think.

Watch when they fall from the top of the bridge and the elevator scenes...

You can notice the cuts.

So ya before the cuts there are no sunglasses. All you see is editing. Then a cut from one scene to another where they have the glasses on.

Here is another example. 405 the movie that short movie was made using 100% off the shelf software that anyone could buy. It was also made several years ago... They describe how they edited it and whatnot. Check it out. They did similar editing in that movie to the sunglasses thing with the guys hat in this movie.
