Prestige in CODAW

So I prestiged last night and wanted to make a note for those who plan to...

If you unlocked a calling card, it will stay unlocked. The challenge for it however will be reset. Example...

If you got 500 kills with the red dot sight, you will still have the calling card for it, but you will be able to rack up another 500 kills for the red dot.

What was weird was that it didn't reset my head shots for weapons.

I was working on getting the guns for getting 300 kills with each weapon and the 1000 kills with each class, and after prestiging, it did not reset my head shots for each weapon and each class.

At first I thought it was set up where if you had put any progress towards a challenge, it'd keep your progress, but it doesn't, just for weapons, and from what I can see, just your head shots.

Just a heads up.

You do get a nice outfit tho.

See that's why I was confused when trying to explain it to you.
Most thing reset, but not all. You get to keep your unlocks but they also reset.
Confusing AF.

Well they kind of have to reset the challenges cause otherwise it'd be much more difficult to prestige at the later levels cause you wouldn't have any challenges left to get XP from.

So it makes sense that you keep whatever emblems and cards and gear you got from initially completing the challenge, but still get XP thereafter. (Guessing thats how it works anyway)

Looking into it, seems like all you get for prestiging the second time, are the Atlas Tier 1 boots. Just the boots. Weird. And a slot I guess. Anyone know what the rest of the prestige levels unlock gear-wise?
