i started reading the zombie survival guide last night and just finished it up this evening. awesome! course, even with the guide i might be screwed. i'm getting ready to start world war z next, can't wait to see how that turns out.

so a big 'effing aw yeah for the survival guide! now i've got a better grasp on the upcoming zombie apocalypse and what i need to do to avoid being a meat-sicle for the walking dead. good stuffs

[SS]Showstoper 11-25-2010 10:45 PM

I'm still reading it, from what I gather, the machete was the weapon of choice. Slicing and dicing is where it's at. :battle107:

Katana Yo! Course it might be hard to find a battle ready Katana but yeah. All I know is I have a long way to go before I am ready for the war to break out.

[SS]Switters 11-25-2010 11:24 PM

Overdrive is ready to slice and dice the living dead! Me, I'm trying to avoid being a switt-kabob. I've got a singleshot shotty and some steakknives. I'm screwed

So I finished world war z, written by max brooks author of the zombie survival guide. Awesome book. The story is told through interviews of survivors of the zombie wars. If you are a zombie fan I highly recommend both of these books, and I would suggest reading world war z 1st and then the zombie survival guide. They are easy to read and fans of the undead will appreciate the insight and narratives. Good stuffs for sure

And now because this thread is in the movie reviews I'll throw this out there. Dead Snow...a good zombie flick, Nazi zombies and lots of the red stuff. It is in German but don't let that stop ya. I think I mentioned this one before but it is on netflix and it's worth checking out

Wow. I have been ignoring this thread because I am not at all interested in the sick twisted human centipede movie. This is why we make topics and stay on them....make a new thread for new topics.....yeesh. As it turns out I got curious as to how in the world this "human centipede" thread could be so active and whadauknow? your not even talking about it.

As to the World War Z and Zombie survival guide I bought those about a month back. I am not find much time to read them but I am about 1/3 way into the WWZ book. I love it. It reads so real. Would make a great movie in my opinion. Zombies freaking FREAK me out. I had nightmares about zombies after I saw the movie I Am Legend. I love it! LOL.

well, i thought it was on topic, the topic of "aw yeah". but thanks for stopping by and sharing your opinion there midnight lol.

there's been talk of a movie, starring brad pitt and being directed by the guy who did quantum of solace. here's the imdb entry for it, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0816711/

i'm on the fence about it being given the hollywood treatment. it would be a shame to see the story take a backseat to brad pitt but that's just my opinion.

this topic is so b-a that it gets the new and improved "2 snaps up with a twist and a kiss"
