Who else is looking foward to the release of Mercenaries 2?

It will release on PS3, making everyone happy in the process. Good thing is, it WILL NOT be released on 360! YAY! One more game for those loser X-Boxes to want so bad they can taste it. Anyway, it will feature an online multiplayer mode, as well as a co-operative mode for those Mercenaries 2 get-togethers that I know everyone will be having.

They are not totally sure what the subtitle will be, but they are juggling between two names:

Mercenaries 2: World of Flame
~or~
Mercenaries 2: World of Destruction <--My favorite.

Seeing as though the original subtitle was Playground of Destruction, and this game is "All grown up" I don't see a problem with the title leaving the playground. LoL.

When I said, "All grown up", I meant it! Instead of only a North Korean locale, you will be able to travel the world to do Dictator's and President alike's dirty work. It will have things including assasination hirings and stuff like that. I also hear that you will be able to use ACTUAL Nuclear Missile Strikes instead of those pansy-assed Fuel Air Bombs that couldn't even destroy a hardened structure! Only for the nuke strike will it have a super long range laser tracking system that allows you to see the target from very far away. God knows how much power it will have, but all I know is to tell Jacob or Niellson not to look directly at the blast! LoL! "GAME OVER: YOU ARE BLIND." LoL!

The game will have many new characters to choose from and missions all over the world to take, as well as a leveling-up system with your character ranging from Toughness to Accuracy, Strength (because this one features the Load system similar to SOCOM's except a lot more realistic. Two nades weighing like, 80 lbs.? Come on, already! I know they are heavy, but damn!) and being able to wield certain weapons only when you get to that weapon's expertise level. There will be one for SMG's, Rifles, Assault Rifles, and Machine Guns, (Woot! M60!), as well as Rocket and Grenade Launchers or anything else (Hmmm....) you may come across.

If it lives up to the Mercenaries name, it WILL be sweet as hell, I know it.

Post any ideas of what you would like to see in the game, and discuss them.

Oh, and by the way, PLEASE use proper English in your posts, especially when I have to look at them. That means grammar, spelling, punctuation, and correct use of infinitives. Sorry to be so anal about it, it's just that I have OCD, and I have to have everything perfect. There's nothing wrong with order, is there? If you don't know what OCD is, you're a tard. Watch the show "Monk" on USA. It is about a detective that has my condition played by the actor that played the gun shop owner in MIB + MIB II. Imagine being a detective around bloody crime scenes, taking testimonies, and making interrogations with horribly-kempt criminals when you have OCD. Torture! But his attention to detail solves crimes. I'm surprised he's still alive and well in the 3rd season.

I know you most likely were not interested in reading that, but I'm serious. I'll delete your post if it looks like this:

"yea dawg totly i realy agre"

Anything better than that, and you'll be good to go.

Thanks.

Thanks.

alike's = like’s
assasination = assassination
hirings = hirings
Missle = Missile
crimescenes = crime scenes
suprised = surprised

You still didn’t give an explanation of OCD.

I guess ‘perfect’ is a state of mind.

Oh, you’re welcome.

Oh man. I am screeming with laughter inside. Can you tell? rofl

My guess is that this is a cut and paste from the Sony boards.

Anyway no I personaly am not all giddy about this release. However if ever I do conjure up enough cash (or credit for that matter) for a PS3 I will be interested in some of the awesome game titles. This is therefore nice to have on hand. Thank you.

And again rofl

Hmmmm...... I guess Gwinnett County School systems' Language Arts Department needs to check what they teach their students.

BTW, I spelled HIRINGS, and ASSASINATION correctly. And I don't recall using "alike's".

Not exactly the nicest person you could be are you..... "You're welcome"...?

Ok, relax there, fanboi... enjoy your $800 console.

No need to be a hater.

LoL. Just facking with ya'. It's $750, but very very high nonetheless. I've checked out the 360, and all I really like is the main boot-up menus where you can change system settings. Clever and attractive layout.

Chenzo 05-22-2006 03:35 PM

For the record, I don't own a 360 either.

The PS3 WILL cost you $800. Don't doubt that. (Might as well buy a PC or both other consoles.)

Beefy1223 05-22-2006 03:57 PM

Oh, and Chenzo, read my reply on the old post about GRAW. It's in the game review forums. Those are the specs on my wicked PC. I tried GRAW BTW. It's OK, I'm just waiting to own it on PS2. It's supposed to be really good. I just don't have any facking money. Oh, and also, could we stay on topic please? Thankyou. LoL.
