the method they use to make you pick your number:

Choose any 2 digit number; add them together; and then subtract the total from the original number


will ALWAYS make you pick a number that is a power of 9... (i.e. 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, etc...)

If you look on the list of symbols, all those numbers have exactly the same symbol.

It's not magic. It's math.

Multiple ANY number by 9.. add the digits together until you are left with a single digit number.. it will ALWAYS come back to 9.

ie..

7x9 = 45, 4+5=9

32x9 = 288, 2+8+8=18 1+8=9

12345*9=999945, 9+9+9+9+4+5=36, 3+6=9



moreover.. add the digits together from the original mind reader.. u get.. oh yeah.. 9!

The part that threw me off was the sysmbols revolving.

I just did it 5 times and it got it wrong 4 times. (hint: try doing the example at the bottom of the instructions repeatedly)

dude, you and Mays are doing your math wrong...

if we use the example at the bottom:

23
2+3 = 5
23 - 5 = 18

18 = a power of 9...

EVERYTIME YOU LOOK AT THE PSYCHIC.SWF the numbers 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81 will have exactly the same symbol and that symbol will always be the one it picks.

And if you do your math correctly you'll AWLAYS come up with one of the numbers I've listed above. It's not having a glitch. I believe it's a pebkac.

when this thing was on ebaum's world they had a table for the symbols and the same symbol went in an exact diagnol line on the table so after the 2nd time i did it was like yea that was bright of them to do that
